I have been a graduate student of the Alva’s college (B.Sc. Biotechnology, 2006-2009) and a recipient of the ‘free’ education under the scheme for ‘academically bright students’. I earnestly thank Dr. M. Mohan Alva, Chairman of the Alva’s education foundation for supporting my education during the period and shall remain grateful for the generous gesture. The years I spent at Alva’s College has been one of the most formative and beneficial years of my life. Apart from the academic coaching, which is of the highest standard in the region, I also had numerous opportunities to participate in the curricular, co-curricular activities and extra-curricular which has undoubtedly helped my personal development. I very much owe my success and growth as a researcher to this glorious institute and sincerely wish that it surges to a great scale of success and achievements every year.
