- VISION: To explore the knowledge of microbial world to benefit and to be benefited.
Objectives of the Department
- To build up knowledge among the students about the different fields of microbiology.
- Providing a platform to improve the practical skills.
- To implement the different microbial techniques to serve the society.
- To create an awareness among the public about the beneficial as well as harmful aspects of microorganisms to improve the quality of health.

- Miss Shreya G Rao has won cash prize from Mangaluru University for securing highest mark in the subject Microbiology in III BSc

- Raksha Shetty secured cash prize from Mangaluru University for scoring highest mark in Microbiology in final B.Sc.
- Pavithra Pai secured gold medal from Mangaluru University for scoring highest mark in Microbiology in B.Sc. Degree.
