UG Library, located in the UG building, caters to the needs of students and staff of undergraduate courses. With an area of 6,667 sq. ft., it houses books which include reference sources like dictionaries, encyclopaedias, competitive examination books and textbooks, etc. It also has journals, magazines, newspapers, rare books, reports and CD/DVD-ROMs, etc.
Besides regular services like lending of books, reference service, it provides services like OPAC, internet facility, reservation of books, question paper service, orientation to the new users and new arrivals display.
The in-house operations of the library are fully automated using Easylib software. The Library is an institutional member of INFLIBNET-NLIST, DELNET and National Digital Library of India. The Library provides services to the students and faculty members of other Alva’s institutions also.
Working hours: 06.00 AM to 10.00PM on weekdays. The Library remains closed on Sundays and selected holidays.
