Department of Zoology

The department of Zoology was established in the year 1998. Three experienced faculty members are supporting and guiding the students. The department organizes various activities, seminars, guest lectures, extension activities etc for the students. It conducts field trips and study tours for the students to visit various research institutions, zoological parks to gain additional practical knowledge. The department encourages the staffs and students to participate in various national and state level seminars, conferences and workshops.

• The departmental library has a good collection of books as well as e-journals and e-contents related to the subject.
• The students display their articles and art works in the wall magazine of the department – “Anifriction”.
