Introduction: Statistics department started in the academic year 2013-14. Here we offer statistics with combination of Physics and Mathematics. We are conducting slow learners class for the students who scored less than 60%.

Ashwini Kumari is graduated from S.D.M College , Ujire in the year 2007, obtained M.Sc degree in Statist
ics in the year 2009 from Mangalore University. Currently pursuing Ph.D degree in Ststistics under the guidence of Prof. Ismail B. in Mangalore University.

Naveena is graduated from P.P.C College, Udupi in the year 2016, obtained M.Sc degree in Statistics in the year 2018 from Mangalore University.
Research: Ashwini Kumari attended and presented a paper entitled “A New Approach For Forecasting Volatility” in the Two Day National Conference on “Reaching the Unreached through Science and Technology: Recent Advances in Physical, Mathematical and Biological Sciences for Energy , Health and Environment held during September 8-9, 2017 at Mangala Auditorium, Mangalore University, Mangalore.
