Department of SOCIOLOGY (UG)
Introduction
The department of sociology has combination of History, political science and sociology. We have students from all corner of the country like students from Manipuri, Kerala, Andra Pradesh and from Lakshadweep. The department is equipped with well experienced staff of more than 30 years of teaching experience in the subject and membership in academic bodies like BOS and BOE. The department library consist of 134 books. The students of the department have participated interdepartmental competition.

- Mr. Kiyamba, Mr. Daniel and Mr. Devaraj student of IIIBA (HPS),presented a paper entitled Women in Work place At the UGC sponsored State Level Interdisciplinary Seminar and paper presentation competition on ’Women Empowerment Trends and Strategies’ on 26th September 2017 at Crossland College Brahmavar.
- Mr. Daniel student of III BA (HPS), presented a paper titled ‘Problem of Manipuri migrated students : A Sociological Study’ in Alva’s College Moodubidire.
