Audio-visual centre has been set up for the use of the department to train students in English language skills by listening and watching the English related visualized texts i.e. LV (Listening, visualizing). It was started with a determination to teach English Language skills very effectively pictorially. The centre was established during the academic year 2022-23 with the unflinching support of the management. Other than for the regular class students the Centre will also be used to teach language proficiency skills required for competitive exams as well as to train-up the students for placement. Besides, the centre is also used to hold Audio-visual related practical-sessions, activities and programs.
OBJECTIVES
- To enhance the language learning skills of the students
- To prepare the students for career and/or higher education by improving skills of English language required
- To upgrade the ‘value addition’ of courses
- To facilitate the teachers to magnify and strengthen the language skills of students
- To create Learners’ Center Learning ambiance
- To adhere to the language skill development norms of NAAC and NCERT
- To hold audio-visual activities
- To cast movie, short film, short videos, Documentaries, Best standard recognized speeches, art-movies etc.
