Department of UG Management

Introduction

The Department of UG Management started in the year 1998. The first batch of BBM Course was started functioning with Mangalore University affiliation in the year 1998 with only 14 students and one teaching staff with firm objective of providing professional degree to the rural students and to equip them with the skills required to face the challenges of the local and corporate world.

The admission of students has been steadily increased from 14 students in the year 1998 to more than 400 at present. Besides the strength of the students, the department has also been updated to become advanced to impart quality education by organizing well designed programs and implementing the strategies effectively over the years.

At present, for skill development the students can opt BBA where they can inculcate the skills such as critical thinking, communication, problem solving, analytical and leadership etc. that are much required to the corporate world. Students get both theoretical and practical knowledge of finance, marketing, human resource, investment, taxation etc., which are essential to navigate in the business world.

Eligibility

A candidate who has passed two years Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the State of Karnataka or any other examination considered as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for admission.
