Language lab has been set up for the use of the department to train students in English language skills i.e. LSRW (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing). It was rather a humble pioneering attempt made by the Department to teach English Language skills very effectively through Technology. The lab was established during the academic year 2013-14. Other than for the regular class students the Lab will also be used to teach language proficiency skills required for competitive exams. Aspirants of BEC, Business English certification a course offered by Cambridge University are trained at the Lab.
OBJECTIVES
It is required…
- To enhance the language learning skills of the students.
- To prepare the students for career and higher education by improving skills of language i.e. LSRW.
- To upgrade the ‘value addition’, of courses.
- To facilitate the teachers to magnify and strengthen the language skills of students through Technology
- To create Learners’ Center Learning ambiance
- To adhere to the language skill development norms of NAAC and NCERT
