An Overview of the Chemistry Department
The Department of Chemistry launched its journey in 1998 as General subject Along with Microbiology for pretty long time as General subject. Currently it is running ahead with several subjects in combination such as Physics, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology along with Microbiology, to educate the local as well as foreign students to reach the poor people of society. By which the education level of the poor familiar were enhanced by making available at very minimum economic conditions. There is demand amongst students for opting Chemistry as Honours subject. There are at present Around 250 sanctioned seats for including various mentioned combinations. There are 7 full time teachers (College sponsored) in the Department. The Department has produced innumerable students throughout the years.
