Alva\u2019s\u00a0 College\u00a0 has a\u00a0 separate\u00a0 wing\u00a0 of\u00a0 sports.\u00a0 Our\u00a0 college\u00a0 aims\u00a0 towards\u00a0 producing\u00a0 university,\u00a0 National\u00a0 &\u00a0 International\u00a0 athletics\u00a0 &\u00a0 Sports\u00a0 persons,\u00a0 and\u00a0 also\u00a0 aims\u00a0 to\u00a0 produce\u00a0 strong,\u00a0 healthy\u00a0 and\u00a0 disciplined\u00a0 citizens\u00a0 to\u00a0 the\u00a0 society.<\/p>\n

We\u00a0 aim\u00a0 towards\u00a0 the\u00a0 round\u00a0 development\u00a0 of\u00a0 personality\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 students\u00a0 through\u00a0 well\u00a0 planned\u00a0 training\u00a0 both\u00a0 in\u00a0 theoretical\u00a0 as\u00a0 well\u00a0 as\u00a0 practical.<\/p>\n

Alva\u2019s\u00a0 college\u00a0 was\u00a0 estd.\u00a0 In\u00a0 1998.\u00a0 Since\u00a0 then\u00a0 our\u00a0 student\u00a0 have\u00a0 achieved\u00a0 glorious\u00a0 and\u00a0 remarkable\u00a0 results\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 field of sports\u00a0 and\u00a0 games.<\/p>\n

Our\u00a0 college\u00a0 has\u00a0 a\u00a0 separate\u00a0 wing\u00a0 of\u00a0 sports\u00a0 and\u00a0 games\u00a0 in\u00a0 which\u00a0 students\u00a0 were\u00a0 adopted\u00a0 under\u00a0 sports\u00a0 quota.\u00a0 They\u00a0 were\u00a0 facilitated\u00a0 with\u00a0 free\u00a0 hostel\u00a0 facilities,\u00a0 uniforms\u00a0 and\u00a0 education.\u00a0 They\u00a0 were\u00a0 trained\u00a0 by\u00a0 qualified\u00a0 and\u00a0 expert\u00a0 coaches\u00a0 throughout\u00a0 the\u00a0 year.<\/p>\n

Our\u00a0 students\u00a0 have\u00a0 played\u00a0 in\u00a0 various\u00a0 games\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 university.\u00a0 State\u00a0 and\u00a0 National\u00a0 competitions\u00a0 with\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the\u00a0 majority\u00a0 of\u00a0 victory.\u00a0 Many\u00a0 of\u00a0 our\u00a0 students\u00a0 were\u00a0 represented\u00a0 the\u00a0 university,\u00a0 state,\u00a0 national\u00a0 and\u00a0 international\u00a0 competitions\u00a0 and\u00a0 grabbed\u00a0 the\u00a0 medals.\u00a0 Our\u00a0 students\u00a0 have\u00a0 set\u00a0 records\u00a0 in\u00a0 many\u00a0 events\u00a0 which\u00a0 is\u00a0 still\u00a0 unbroken\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 university\u00a0 and\u00a0 state\u00a0 and\u00a0 national\u00a0 calendar.<\/p>\n

University,\u00a0 state\u00a0 and\u00a0 national\u00a0 level\u00a0 coaching\u00a0 camps\u00a0 were\u00a0 organized\u00a0 by\u00a0 our\u00a0 college,\u00a0 sate\u00a0 national\u00a0 and\u00a0 inter\u00a0 –\u00a0 university\u00a0 competition\u00a0 were\u00a0 organized\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 events\u00a0 like\u00a0 athletics,\u00a0\u00a0 kho – kho,\u00a0 ball\u00a0 badminton\u00a0 etc\u2026 The\u00a0 inter\u00a0 collegiate,\u00a0 inter \u2013 district\u00a0 and\u00a0 state\u00a0 competitions\u00a0 were\u00a0 also\u00a0 organized\u00a0 in\u00a0 different\u00a0 games\u00a0 and\u00a0 athletics.<\/p>\n

Our\u00a0 students\u00a0 were\u00a0 provided\u00a0 with\u00a0 the\u00a0 free\u00a0 sports\u00a0 kit,\u00a0 medical\u00a0 facility,\u00a0 TA,DA\u00a0 at\u00a0 the\u00a0 time\u00a0 of\u00a0 competition\u00a0 and\u00a0 training.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0 following,\u00a0 FREE\u00a0 facilities\u00a0 have\u00a0 been\u00a0 provided\u00a0 for\u00a0 our\u00a0 Sports\u00a0 students.<\/strong><\/p>\n

            The\u00a0 big\u00a0 area\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 badminton\u00a0 court\u00a0 was\u00a0 prepared\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 year\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2012-13.\u00a0 The court\u00a0 was\u00a0 prepared in\u00a0 the\u00a0 level\u00a0 of\u00a0 National\u00a0 competitions.\u00a0 There\u00a0 were\u00a0 4\u00a0 courts\u00a0 which\u00a0 was\u00a0 prepared\u00a0 with\u00a0 a\u00a0 good\u00a0 standard\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 budget\u00a0 0f\u00a0 5 Lakh Rs. TWO<\/strong>\u00a0 ALL\u00a0 INDIA NATIONAL COMPETITION\u00a0 <\/strong>were\u00a0 organized\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 same\u00a0 court.<\/p>\n

            The\u00a0 basket\u00a0 ball CEMENT\u00a0 court\u00a0 was\u00a0 prepared\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 year\u00a0 2016-17.\u00a0 at\u00a0 the\u00a0 budget \u00a0of\u00a0 Rs. 7 Lakh.\u00a0 The\u00a0 court\u00a0 was\u00a0 prepared\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 view\u00a0 of\u00a0 facilitating\u00a0 the\u00a0 students\u00a0 for\u00a0 regular\u00a0 practices.\u00a0 Standard\u00a0 fiber\u00a0 board\u00a0 was\u00a0 purchased\u00a0 for \u00a0\u00a0practice and competition \u00a0purposes.<\/p>\n

            HANDBALL\u00a0 COURT<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

            The new handball\u00a0 court\u00a0 was\u00a0 prepared\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 year\u00a0 2015-16.\u00a0 Two\u00a0 Handball\u00a0 court\u00a0 were\u00a0 prepared\u00a0 for\u00a0 the\u00a0 practice\u00a0 of\u00a0 Men\u00a0 and\u00a0 Women. The\u00a0 court\u00a0 was\u00a0 prepared\u00a0 in a\u00a0\u00a0 good\u00a0 standard,\u00a0 at\u00a0 the\u00a0 budget\u00a0 of 2\u00a0 Lakh\u00a0 Rupees<\/p>\n

            VOLLEYBALL\u00a0 COURT<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

            The\u00a0 big\u00a0 arena\u00a0 of\u00a0 volleyball\u00a0 court\u00a0 was\u00a0 prepared\u00a0 to\u00a0 facilitate\u00a0 the\u00a0 students\u00a0 for\u00a0 practice\u00a0 purpose\u00a0 as\u00a0 well\u00a0 as\u00a0 play\u00a0 for\u00a0 other\u00a0 athletes\u00a0 after\u00a0 their\u00a0 daily\u00a0 training\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 programme.\u00a0 There\u00a0 were\u00a0 04\u00a0 volleyball\u00a0 courts,\u00a0 which\u00a0 was \u00a0prepared\u00a0 in\u00a0 the year\u00a0 2012 and 2015.<\/p>\n

            SOFTBALL PLAYING\u00a0 DIMENSION<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

            A\u00a0 separate\u00a0 softball\u00a0 dimension\u00a0 is\u00a0 also\u00a0 prepared\u00a0 for\u00a0 the\u00a0 purpose\u00a0 of\u00a0 practice.<\/p>\n

            STANDARED\u00a0 ATHLETIC SYNTHETICS \u00a0400\u00a0 MTS. TRACK.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

            Alva\u2019s\u00a0 college\u00a0 has\u00a0 produced\u00a0 many\u00a0 state,\u00a0 National\u00a0 and\u00a0 International\u00a0 athletes\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 same\u00a0 track.\u00a0 The\u00a0 75^{nd<\/sup>\u00a0 ALL\u00a0 INDIA\u00a0 INTER- UNIVERSITY\u00a0 STHLETIC\u00a0 CHAMPIONSHIP\u00a0 was\u00a0 organized\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 year 2014-15\u2019 By Alva\u2019s \u00a0education foundation. The\u00a0 track\u00a0 was Prepared\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 same\u00a0 year\u00a0 by the govt. of Karnataka, which was handed over to Alva\u2019s education foundation\u00a0for maintenance and practice purpose. Many\u00a0 inter\u00a0 school\u00a0 competitions,\u00a0 inter\u00a0 college\u00a0 competitions,\u00a0 state\u00a0 competitions\u00a0 and\u00a0 national\u00a0 athletics\u00a0 competitions\u00a0 were\u00a0 also\u00a0 organized by Alva\u2019s education foundation in the same track.
