Alva’s college bags overall championship
Moodubidire: The students of Alva’s college, Moodubidire emerged champions in inter- collegiate literary competitions -2017, jointly organized by Mangluru University Student Welfare Directorate, and Rosario college of Management Studies, Mangaluru. Second year Post graduate Journalism student Ashwini Jain got first place in English debate for speaking against the topic and Raksha K P Shetty won third place in English debate. B.sc student Ayana M Jose succeeded in gaining first place in English Elocution. Students team comprised of Adarsh J, Rahul M, Rakshachandra won second place in Quiz competition. Second year Post graduation Journalism student Fazil Ahmad Hodigere got second place in Kannada debate competition for speaking against the topic. Poornaprajna College, Udupi grabbed runner’s trophy. Alva’s Education Foundation chairman Dr M Mohan Alva, Principal Dr Kurian, Cultural coordinator Vani applauded the success.
