Human resource development is the process of encouraging employees to acquire new skills and knowledge through various training programmes, courses and learning packages. Many organizations have now begun to take it as a crucial source of competitive advantage. Now in most of the organizations.

HRD has moved out from the training departments into every aspect of organizational life as many organizations claim attraction to the idea of a learning organization.
